A Life in Boxes

Sometimes we can see the finish line, other times we can only see what is in front of us.  Right now, every where I turn there are boxes.  I would love to tell you that I have been working out daily, that moving is a piece of cake.  Instead, I am here to tell you that sometimes workouts take a back seat.  It’s okay, I will be back at it tomorrow, the alarm with reminder is set on my phone.
The great thing about moving is that I get to reorganize and prioritize my life.  We purged many items before we moved.  We are currently purging even more.  This house will be a home soon.  Fingers crossed that it becomes what I in-vision and our chore plan works.  When my house is in order it is easier to workout.
I’m off to tackle the heart of the home a.k.a. my kitchen.  Tonight’s episode of Mamavation TV is sure to be full of tips for becoming more efficient in the kitchen, it is about Once a Month Cooking.

Best of luck with all the unpacking. It is a great chance to start fresh, clean and with new purpose. Enjoy the new place and have a great week.

YAY for unpacking! (and do not look into my basement and garage where I have unpacked boxes from 3 years ago). I can't wait to see photos!

I like the idea of having a fresh start but I can't imagine the stress of having to pack up and move! The house we moved into was my husband's great grandmother's and came chock full 'o' stuff. We never really got a clean slate of a house. I know what you mean about it being easier to workout when the house is in order, it's a lot easier to do a lot of things when the house is in order!

Moving, unboxing, settling in is tough on everything/everyone. I'm excited you are in a place and you are getting things organized. I still have a whole house to unload out in my garage, lol. I'm excited about your chore chart to btw. Keep me posted :)

Moving can be so difficult…that's a workout in itself, both physically and mentally. Hope it all falls into place, and I am sure it will.

Good luck getting everything unpacked and back to working out. :) I hope that you manage to do it pretty quickly. Enjoy the fresh start and as Megan said, please share How the chore chart works out. Getting the kids to help around here is such a struggle sometimes. :)

You're getting to be a pro at this moving stuff. Pretty soon it'll be a breeze. Change is different but for the better is always worth it. Have a great week! :)

De-cluttering is the ONLY part about moving I like!
